Nice ride in mind.
I really like the ride of my Tein Flex w/ 8k/6k spring rates. I'm sure there is better if you have the money for the really expensive coilover setups, but this setup is pretty good in terms of ride.
Part of the keys to getting a good ride will be:
1) Not super high spring rate
2) Dont slam it so low that you constantly hit the bumpstops (the lower you go the higher the rate must be to keep you from hitting the bump stops)
3) Tire sidewall height, the higher the better riding. For optimal ride, stay with 16' wheels. I have 18s, 19 and above and your car will ride like crap.
4) You can compensate for lower spring rate with bigger sway bar to an extent which is what I've done with the slightly lower spring rates.

The price doesn't matter too much, and the ride hight can be whatever. I am however running 35 series tires because they dont make the rears I need in anything else. I'm running the Megan 32 way adjustable coil overs at the moment, and looking to sell those. I'm thinking about just going factory suspention.
The ideal street setup would be the Tein Flex coilovers with the EDFC. However, a slightly cheaper option would be the Tokico HTS/D-Spec shocks paired with a good set of springs (H&R, Tein H-Tech, etc).
