I want to make a correction. The weights I listed above were apparently not for tires of the same size. I spoke to a rep at tire rack and was given the following weights for the above mentioned tires in 16 245/45
RE750=25lbs
AVS sport=25.5
ES100s=27lbs
This reinforces my choice.-RE750s

As you guys are finding out the treadwear rating doesn't have diddly to do with real performance grip, and every car uses the tire slightly differently anyway. And some tires get horrible as the tread wears and others get better. I go by others' opinions who have run the tires, but it's always a guessing game. Don't put much faith in numbers.

RE750s are very good tires. I've got about 2000 miles on them and they still look almost brand new. Treadwear appears to be a lot better ... the rating appears to have a kernel of truth to it.

I have been using ES100 for Drifting and Gripping. SO far I loved the tires for Drifting.
Its not too grippy for drift as for grip I wouldn't even buy these tires.
From Azenis and ES100. Ill stick to Azenis and it has a stiffer sidewallls than the ES.

I now have about 6 weeks and 550 miles on the tires. They should be scrubbed in by now.
For performance driving, I am a little disappointed. They seem to want to roll over and "push" more than the 730's did. Overall grip seems to be slightly less than I anticipated. I wish I had spent the extra money and bought the 750's.
If anyone wants to buy them, I will consider selling them at a loss. I paid about $425 (shipped)

Notice what the performance difference (look at the times and Gs) is between the RE750s and the ES100. Yes the RE750s are better, but are they 30-40% better?
