New Wheels - Need tire size & alignment specs!

Hey everyone,

I recently completed a full super pro bushing install, a full pillow ball replacement and coilover install all around 250 miles ago. I have been saving up for this for a long time lol. And today I ordered the final piece of my suspension/handling over haul .. new wheels.

I'll be running a set of work meisters at 18x10 +43 O Disk rears // 18x9 +43 R Disk fronts and I'm not sure which size of tires to get. Only my fronts are rolled and once housed 18x10 ccw's although I'm not certain of their offset. I'll be leveling the car and dropping it down to a 25"- 25 1/2 fender height and entertaining the idea of small spacers to get a more aggressive yet not a hella-***-flush look. These are my questions!

1. So based on those specs, what tire size would you guys recommend I run ?
2. Should I get an alignment when I get my new wheels and tires or let the suspension work itself in a bit more?
3. What alignment angles/measurements should I request based on running 9 fronts/10 rears for street use only?

Any advice or direction would be much appreciated as I only understand the basics when it comes to suspension.

255/35 front and either 275/35 rear (more sidewall but larger OD--slower acceleration) or 285/30(less sidewall, harsher ride, but closer to OEM OD with 16inchers).

If you need recommendations on tire brand let me know

Take it for an alignment, no need to drive much to settle anything. Stock Alignment.

You won't need your rolled fenders for those sizes/offsets, can't hurt I suppose.

Awesome, a perfect response - thank you Rich. Any suggestions on a mid to high grade tire would be awesome. Being able to hook up as soon as possible or take the off ramps at high baller speeds aren't a necessity but everyone here does it now and then lol.

That video is great

What rear gears are you running (oem 4.10?) and what power/boost levels? How many miles per year do you drive?

I'd probably go with the 275/35 out back.....

Hey

I'm running the oem gears right now and am sitting on 275s with the same specs actually. As for power levels 450whp at most (in the future) and roughly ... 2000 miles or so per year at the most.

All pricing taken from the Tire Rack...... they fall into two main categories based on performance and price, no surprise here:

Dunlop Direzza ZII $1110
Hankook RS3 $1080
Bridgestone Potenza RE11 $1052
Michelin Pilot Super Sport $980

Bridgestone Potenza S04PP $762
Continental DW $752
Hankook Ventus V12 evo $742

Given your power goals and low miles (km eh?) driven per year, I'd probably look at the RS3 or RE11..... RS3 if you never see rain. The Pilot SS are a great all around tire, and that price is looking pretty good.

Goodfella you are the man, I was quite set on the RS3's to begin with from the reviews I've came across and the car hardly see's overcast let alone rain. And no lol I meant miles eh, I do quite a bit of driving on KMH and MPH based roads and the conversions are just second nature now .

Thanks, hopefully I'll have pics up in about a month with the new set up.
