Thumbs up New tires, pads and ss brake lines review

I recently upgraded my FD from stock tires and brakes to 235/45/17 and 255/40/70 Falken GR Beta 451 tires on OEM Type RZ gunmetal BBS Wheels (17x8 and 17x8.5).

I also installed EBS Green Pads all around and Goodwrich SS Brake lines and flushed with Prestone High Performance Fluid at the same time.

This is a short review of the setup with less than 200 miles since changed. It's great!! The falkens are much stickier than stock, they even pick up and throw road gravel around. I can turn much faster now and feel more confident in the wet.

The brakes changed like night and day, I can brake harder without even getting into the abs! I did a couple of abs tries after the pads were seated and I got a headache from such strong braking g's. Pedal is firmer and requires less travel to brake better. I'm now waiting on my stock replacement slotted and dimpled rotors...

I highly recommend this combination!! I just need to do the rotors, rear swaybar and the H&R Springs and I'll be done with handling mods.

Sounds like you are a happy camper

I honestly didn't notice one bit of difference by installing the SS lines, but fresh rotors and pads (EBC Greens) made a huge difference too.
