New brake pads, need help
What is the best way to change the rear brake pads? Does anyone have any diagrams for the rear? I got the pads out and it seems like the piston isn't going back as far as it needs to cause there's not enough room to get the new pads in there and back on the rotor, but physically it feels like the piston is all the way back. At this point it seems like it's mechanically impossible to go back on. Can anyone give me a hand?

FD? got any autozones around u? u can rent a tool from them that pushes the piston back in, its not even renting, its like a deposit, u get full money back wen u return it

You retract the piston on the rear calipers by turning it. Use some pliers or get a piston retraction tool (a "hellraiser cube") from your local auto parts store to do it. It's easy.

Yeah it's an FD, and yes there's an autozone right down the street. I didn't know they had that tool, I'll go pick it up. I've rented the spring compressors from them before...same deal. I didn't know the piston turned though. Thanks for the info guys, I really appreciate it. I have a RX7 meet to make it to tonight, haha.
