New brake pads and machined rotors

Finding myself dreaming of better weather more and more frequently these days. I have a quick question:
Just before putting my vert into storage I had new brake pads installed and the rotors where machined. I picked the car up and put it directly into storage and now i am just wondering if there is any recommended break in procedure for when i get the car back out of storagew in the spring. i thought i read something about proper seating or something. i know nothing about this so if someone could let me know that would be great.
thanks alot

Normally you would use the brakes very lightly for the first 50-100 miles to seat them properly.

And this really is not a 2nd gen question

To bed in your brake pads, accelerate to about 20-30 mph, then hit the brakes hard to completely stop the car. Drive around a bit to let the brakes cool, then make another hard stop at a slightly higher speed. Do a series (5-6) of these hard stops and cool off periods and you should be set. BTW, when you do this you'll smell brakes and that's normal.

Actually, most pad manufacturers recommend that you do NOT come to a complete stop when bedding the pads. You also want to do a firm application but certainly not to the point of locking up a wheel or engaging the ABS.

Other than that, your procedure is correct.
