Need some advise on Work XD9

Guys,
I'm planning to get Work XD9 for my 7. My supension set up is H&R spring and R1 shocks, plan to use 235/40F and 265/35R tires. I'm thinking F18x8 +45 and R18x9 +43 or +38. What do you guys think?? Any opinion is appreciated. Thx

18x8 +45 and 18x9 +43 would be great......

Another option to consider would be rolling the front fenders and running the 18x9 +43 all around with 255/35s. This would allow you to rotate tires.

I know what you mean, 17x9.5 has a big fat lip which i really like (see attahced). I thought about it as well but 17 may look too small on the car. Another option is go for 18x10 +38, but then may be too wide for stock set up.

That's why I want to see some picutre but it seems like no one has this rim. oh well!!

The 18x10+38 is fine for the rears. speedjunkie has this setup if you want to ask him how he likes it.

It is not a blanket fine, running 285/30s would definitely require rolling the rear fenders.

So will it fit a 18x10 +38 with 265/35/18 at the rear?? I don't want to roll the fender. Let me know what you guys think?? If that's the case, I will go with the 18x9 +43 to avoid the problem, no big fat lip though

Why don't you want to roll the fenders?

I don't know if this helps but here were some XD-9's on my s2000. I think they were 17x8 +43 in the rear.

I am thinking about getting them too... but I am in the process of struggling whether to go for 17" or 18" and what width and offset................................. point me to the right direction please.. (yes appearance is quite important -i love the deep dish- but i absolutely don't want to sacrifice performance if the 18"is going to be alot heavier) hard to find the balance...

What about running a 17x9 up front and a 18x10 in the rear?

17 18 stagger on FDs looks nifty imo.

18x10 +38 all around would be the best scenario

theres no point to getting the XD9s if you aren't getting the 9.5s or the 10s. 9J and lower just look dumb.

if you gotta settle for a 9" for the rear, get the +38.

you wont have any issues .

DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS PERSON.

18x10 +38 all around? Hahaha Yea maybe if you stretch the tires to ****, you'll still probably be rolling the fronts though.

Either go with the original set up you mentioned in your first post, or go with the 18x9 +43 all around with 255/35/18 tires... you will probably have to do a small roll in the front (thats the same size wheel and tire i have in the front and i need a small roll) but you will be able to rotate the tires, saving some money.

^^^^

Even with a fender "roll," I wouldn't put 10 +38's on the front of my car.

And yet you keep hanging out here despite not owning the car. Hmmm.
