need reccomendations/help w. suspension FD

Ok so ive been looking around at a few combinations of what people are looking for and i havent found a thread w. someone with the same needs...

basically im looking for shock/spring combo or coilovers... I need recommendations for an FD... It will be on my DD... i plan on going to the track maybe once or twice a year and a few autoxing events..

priority goes DD>auto x> drag... i live in NJ so roads arent GREAT but i dont mind a fairly stiff set up if it holds well through turns...

So far ive been leaning towards koni shocks/eibach springs, tein flex coilovers, or megan street series coilovers.. any comments on these choices? megans good?

Id like to keep my budget under 1k but if there is nothing that fits those criterias i will take the lunge (flex)..

Any other reccomendations for my needs? is coilovers a wise choice?

Thanks in advance
-benny

dangg....no responses eh? I was hoping to get some knowledge since I'm in the same boat. I was considering bilstein/h&r until another member told me it's pretty stiff (so much so his wife's back hurts in the passenger seat). So now I'm onto the Koni/Eibach combo myself......

From what I know and read here, if you're going DD/a distant 2nd - AutoX/Drag, you don't need coilovers....

Does your budget include/exclude installation? DIY?

I'm surprised non of you searched...
there is a 20 page thread about FD suspension that Howard Coleman wrote, it's bumped almost every day. why don't you try reading it.
