Need Help With FC Upgrades

Well I just got the car back on the road and the wornout suspension needs to be fixed, as just about everything is worn out. My car is a 1987 FC N/A (Mods in Sig), I want my car to handle as good or better than a friends RX8.

1. Bushings- Energy Suspension polyurathane bushings.
2. Springs- Racing Beat, or Ground Control Coilovers.
3. Shocks- I am thinking of Tokico HP's just to save money, is the adjustability of Illumina Shocks that big of a deal?
4. Wheels/Tires- Definatly going with Enkei RPF01's, 17x8 on all corners with 235/40R17. I thought about 17x9 255 wide with wider front fenders, but it's probly a bit much.
5. Braces/What not- Mazdatrix triangulated bar with engine brace, what ever for the rear. Would the lower suspension braces be a waste?

I do do the energy bushing before doing any suspension work. I mean is the cheapest and i can feel the difference right away. But is a bitch to put on.......
