Need advice on Tokiko Shocks

Was just curious if anyone has every used Tokiko Illumina gas shocks on their fd?
Im looking to replace mine and am curious as to which shocks/springs are a good setup for street?

am looking at some off ebay

probably Ebich pro-kit is most paired with those. You should check out the suspension forum.

I have the eibach-tokico setiup and i love it. It is not too harsh on the street at all. Though i can definitely feel almost everything on the road.

Tokico's are decent shocks. I currently use them (street and track usage). However, that eBay price is not all that great. I bought mine from eBay several years ago, but for a little under $300 USD for all 4 brand new. I guess its possible the price has gone up a bit on them, but I would shop around a little more if I were you.

Has anyone ever had problem with "gas" shocks? vs piston driven shocks?

What type of shocks are the on the stock FD?
