Can't tell how big of a gap that is (no reference) but if it's 3mm on all sides from the wheel, go thrash it!

Yes it is!! cause before that I install the wheels spacers there were almost scratching the wheel, so as I install the 3mm spacers they have for sure more than 3mm of clearance

When I have the standard brakes , cause I have Tein Flex coilover , and Racing Beat Sway bars , and 17" wheels , etc , it brake too much on the rear, so it should work fine now.
When I change the suspension setup I mist OEM brake setup and balance , so now should work perfect if my calculations are correct.

Ok here we go again Im intalling the gt500 rear brakes to compensate the evo 10 ones at front Acording to my calculation this should solve the problem of the brake balance Im intalling the rotors and calipers
I think that the Mustang gt500 that the brakes came from is 2011

Great job on the brakes, if you don't mind me asking, how much did the front run you?

Racing brakes evo x 348mm rotors are arround $1000
The evo 8 calipers $400
Brake lines at mazdatrix around $100
Brake lines adaptors $200
Adaptors for the calipers i spend $200
3mm spacers for the front wheels $20
Rear gt500 calipers rotors and pads (ebay) $120 shipped
I still need to fabricate the adaptors but it looks very easy compares to the fron ones

I am also going to use EVO IX calipers on my car. My friends with Evos say their brakes are sufficient for track days so if they stop a 1400-1500kg Evo, I'm sure they'll do a perfect job on a 1250kg RX7.

After all this hard work, would you get a brake kit now? Like stop tech or similar?
Or, would you do it the same again?

Great project.

Why didn't you use EVO rear calipers? Do you have stock master cylinder or 929 mc?

looks great man. also for ls1 camaro guys run 4 piston ctsv brembos under 17inch wheels. but you have to grind the top of the calipers to squeeze them under. and they dont fit under most 17'' wheels
