Thumbs up My Enkei RPF1's mounted :)

Well, the photos really don't do justice for the wheels on the car but here goes:

The "stock" wheels I had were 245/45/16's Toyo T1-plus and they weighed 37.0 lbs according to my digital bathroom scale. These new RPF1's with 255/40/17's Toyo T1S were a feathery 39.0 pounds - an increase I can deal with considering the extra contact patch I gain. There is a slight increase in ride height but don't mind too much since I no longer scrape the lip on my driveway.

I haven't done a Mt. Hamilton run yet but so far, they've been incredible. In corners where my old tires were squealing like the three little pigs, you can barely hear these new tires gripping. And in chicanes where I've had to be careful with my throttle, I can drop the hammer and not worry about the rear breaking loose.

Thanks Rishie, we are definetly doing business again.

Now the only question is: a complete coilover system or just some lowering spring? I guess I can upgrade to some larger brakes too and my list goes on and on...

Are you running 255/40 in the front as well? Any rubbing on those corners? What suspension, what are you running? Very nice btw

Thanks. I'm running 255/40 all around so I can rotate the tires. I have the stock R1 suspension and haven't encountered any rubbing - but we'll see after my Mt. Hamilton-run.

Yup, 9 x 17, 45-mm offset all around with 255/40-17.

Close, but they are 17,8.5 front and rear. Slight variation of your acclaimed fitment. lol.

Ok...trying to sort out turbo control issues with my J-spec twins before my next open track event. The turbo control system was working fine until recently. The Power FC must be working the turbo control solenoids overtime and straight into failure LOL
