My brakes suck!!!

My brakes really suck! When I first bought the car the front rotors were warped so I bought new ones from the local pepboys (either brembo or raybestos) and their organic pads as well. I get brake fade really easily and if I get on the brakes hard then afterwards I feel pulsation like they have warped some. After a while of taking it easy this seems to go away like the pads have worn /trued the rotors enough. Brake noise seems excessively loud also whenever I brake. Does this just sound like a case of crappy pads or should I look into further upgrades for my brake system. Also what pads would you recommend for mainly street use but ocassional autoxing (1-3times a year). Thanks in advance for your input.

My 3gen brakes suck!!!

Sorry guys. I forgot that I wasn't posting to the 3gen specific forum. I have a '93 base model,w/ 98k miles. Some other possibly useful information is that I have 17" rims with potenza re730s. The rims are made by Kosei I believe and are heavier then stock but I don't have concrete numbers. I had similar issues before upgrading to the new rims though. I also have a dp, custom cold air intake, pfc, and pfs intercooler so it gets moving faster then stock so good breaking is essential. I am looking into probably going with RP bonez stage 1 pads, n-tech silvers (on back order which could take forever), or M2 Street performance pads. Any comments. I would like to avoid the issues of going with an upgraded kit, and expense, despite the fact that they would look great. Would slotted or cross-drilled rotors help at all? Any other advice is appreciated.

get project mu's

get the project mu b-force pad from www.rxecret7.com, tony usually stocks them and they are really good. I use the project mu's with powerslot rotors and I have never ever faded them even on thunderhill raceway. Furthermore, pedal control and stopping power is superior to that of the EBC reds and porterfield R4s, they are easy on the rotors and offer good performance. Read Ef-dee's other post on brakes for more info.
