I am trying to recover my MS02 rims but the shop is not sure if its a 2 piece construction or a one piece construction. Anyone knows or had any info on this?

It's typically pretty obvious if you look at a wheel that's a 2- or 3-piece. The bolts will go all the way through and aren't just stuck on, you can see the pieces of the wheel if you study the wheel, etc.

I do think, if memory serves, most Mazdaspeed wheels were multi-piece.

My MS-01 LMs are 2 piece. You would think MS-02s would be also?

Yeah it was. The lips was machined. The reason I brought it up is because Im planning to chemically stripped it but I didnt go that route since I am not sure if its press fit or did Rays added glue in it. It might weaken the rims if that was the case.

Hell, just use some aircraft stripper on it. That will get the old finish off but won't stick around long enough to damage any adhesive that's in there. Spray on, let sit, scrub, hose off. It's better than dunking in a chemical vat or something.

I saw you got your wheels all painted one color. I recently went through what you did but I guess you dont need my advice now.
