Anyone have experience with MOTUL brake fluid?

I'm changing the brake lines and pads on my car this weekend and bought 3 bottles of MOTUL DOT 5.1.
What's the difference between the 5.1 and MOTUL 600?

Here's what I was told.
should stay with 600 if using stainless line
silicone additives is good when using stock lines to keep rubber and other moving parts lubricated and provides some seal
because oem brakes sometime don't have the highest tollerence, but when it's used with stainless steel lines... there is nothing to lubricate.. all it does is create built up of silicone
also.. 5.1 heat tollerence is not as high as the 600

I'm running the Motul 600 in my street car with stock T2 brakes, HAWK HP+ pads, and s/s lines. A friend runs the same setup and we both confirm it is a good thing.
Completely bleed/flush the system and get 2 bottles to make sure you have unuf. The old fluid that comes out can be pretty nasty.

i always bleed my brakes before a high speed event. i did and put valvoline synthetic fluid in and i found myself in the high weeds at black hawk farms raceway with the pedal to the floor with nothing happening. I bled the brakes at the track and put motul 600 in. after that, my day went much better!
OC_, I had some Valvoline SynPower fluid boil on me also. My pads were almost to the backing plates (more heat transfer to the fluid) and I had an extra passenger when it happened, but it surprised the heck out of me since I was using race pads and never boiled the fluid before. I though I had gone totally through the pads and down to the metal backing plates, but there was still material there after I pulled off and inspected.
Your account and my experience make me wonder if Valvoline is a little optimistic with the temp ratings, or if perhaps it absorbs water really quickly or something.
I've never had any problem with the Neo HP fluid, and I have now switched to the ATE fluids. No track time since the switch, though.

i should have checked to see if my fluid was boiling, but i was so far out in the weeds talking to the safty crew and trying to free my car!
i think im going to remove my dust shields and such to help get more air to the rotors. i hear that helps.
i hear that ATE stuff is good. switch between that and a clear fluid since it makes bleeding easier. im guessing its Super Blue?
