Thumbs up Michelin Pilot Sport

Installed today my 255/40/17 rear and 235/40/17 front
Michelin Pilot Sport on my 2000 Type R FD and i need to share my excitment with you guys. These tires are just GREAT!! They get warm very easily and when they do that....WOW! steping on the gas from stop and no spinning at all. They do not noise at all either at high speeds like my previous Potenza and you can feel the car much more smooth on the road even with my HKS hiper dumper suspention.

For sure they worth all the money!!!

Yeah I got a set brand new with the car when I bought it. Great tires. They are very quiet at highway speed, and provide very good traction in the wet or dry. Also, I have 20,000 miles on mine already, which is much better than my friend can say for the S03's on his Subaru. I would highly recommend these tires to anyone that doesn't mind paying a little extra. (This must be the reason why they are OEM tires on more than a few of the Mercedes' models.)

There really great tires, but not worth the cash. I had them on the last wheels I owned.. For street tires I like P-zero's I think

What tires are you comparing them to? Falken Azenis? BFG KD's? What did you run before.

Before i was running Potenza S02's that came with the car and i changed to Pzero's Asimmetrico, Michelin are the best. Cannot be compared with any other tires.

Yeah I used to have the pilots on my FD seamed tobe good tires. I just didn't like how much they ran for so I switched to some yoakahams.
