Mazdaspeed MS-02?

The Mazdaspeed MS-02 is one of my favorite wheels ever, but I seem to be the only person I know who likes it. Does anyone have any good pictures of Rx-7s with this wheel? I can never find anything but tiny pictures of them. Has anyone ever owned a set of these?

No offense to anyone who owns them, but I have always thought those were hands down the ugliest wheels ever made for the FD. I recall someone on this forum once likening them to something out of Mad Max, and I cant help but say that description is spot on. I have a few pics on my work computer that I will try to post tomorrow though.

Thanks, I'd appreciate it.
I understand they are *different*, and I don't think they'd look right on any FD, but I really like the mechanical, I-mean-business look they've got.

I think those wheels are the most beautiful ever made for the seven. However, if not paired with the perfect bodykit they can look horrible. Here is a pic of the perfect setup, the most beautiful bodykit for an FD with the wheels to match....

I'm glad someone likes them! They definitely aren't for everyone, but when you see a nice picture of them you can see all the thought that went into designing them.

Perhaps some of the dislike for them stems from the lack of good pictures.

Rims are beautiful in my opinion . . . . as well as the old school Mazdaspeed kit. Not what i'd do but definately old school.

Excellent!! I just bought the wheels from the guy selling them as posted earlier!!. I have been looking for those wheels for some 2 years now and I am so happy to have found em! Thank you so much moehler!! Buying those wheels has made my whole year! Take a look at my above post,
I think those wheels are the most beautiful ever made for the seven. However, if not paired with the perfect bodykit they can look horrible. Here is a pic of the perfect setup, the most beautiful bodykit for an FD with the wheels to match....
The aspec has always been my favorite model, I actually ordered the original front as pictured two weeks ago, plus a wing similar to the aspec. I never dreamed I could find the wheels to match. I am having the whole car repainted when I get the bumper and wing + some suspension work to make the wheels look good. I plan to make it an exact replica of this car except in silver.

I am so excited-I cant wait till its completed at the end of the summer. I will be sure to post lotsa pics of her so keep an eye out fellas!

And I want to once again thank moehler for posting the link to the guy selling those wheels, you have no idea how stoked I am to have found those. thanks-B

I've always liked them too and agree you've got to have them on the right setup.

I remember those were the first Mazdaspeed wheels I ever saw back in 1995 when I went to one of the little tuner shops in San Francisco's Japan town. Those wheels look like a weapon...mean! At the shop they had RE Amemiya kits there and everything was a million bucks. I was in love and could only dream of putting such parts on my TII back then. Haha... We are so spoiled nowdays. Things are cheaper and easier to get. Sorry to say but some of the younger guys have no idea.

wow, at first impression, i thought those wheels were ugly. then when i saw them with the Aspec kit, they seemed to fit. i have always thought the Aspec kit was ugly. but they do really go together. not my style at all, but it's sanfordman's car, and he seems really excited, so good for you brother, and keep us posted for sure.
