I have a set of Racing Hart C4s for my FD. They are 2 piece wheels with tires already mounted and balanced. I want to remove the center pieces and either repaint or polish. Do I have to remove the tire from the wheel before removing the center section. I don't recall (don't have them in front of me as I type this), that removing the centers would interfere with the valve stems.

I would prefer NOT to have to r and r the tires and rebalance the wheels if I can avoid it.

If they are 2 piece you *should* be fine, just mark where located when you remove them so as to maintain balance.
