Thats not bad.

hmmm.....thats a very impressive weight for a 19X10. my kinesis k28's in 18X10 are 22lbs.

not that i'm a cynic or anything, but i'd want to weigh those forgelines myself to verify that 20lbs claim

just looked at those forgelines.....they are one piece wheels so i'm less skeptical about their weight claim.

6 lugs, and only two widths, unfortunately.

Well that blows. I wonder why Pettit bothers to have them on their site...

Why would a manufacturer go through the trouble of designing and tooling for a wheel for only one car?!

$$$.

Looks like someone at Pettit didn't notice that they were 6-lug. I see no size listings and the pictures are of the Viper 6-lug wheels.

I just wrote to Forgeline, we'll get to the bottom of this.

The weight is incredibly low for a 19" wheel (if accurate). I also like the styling, since I was leaning towards a "10 spoke" design similar to the Z06 or a modified 5-spoke design with split spokes, which technically would be another 10-spoke design I guess.

Jim,
The BBS RG-R (see associated thread in Rishies section) are available in 19x10" +50mm (wish they had that offset in 18").

They weigh 9.6 kg =21.16 lbs.

Ive seen the finish, and its like the BMW M carbon/polish sort of thing... also available in bright silver i believe.

The diamond black (carbon/polish) finish would look stunning on your blue car. Design is classic mesh.

Tire rack caries the 18".... Rishie can probably special-order the 19's for you... heres a link to the BBS Japan site

Thanks Peter. BTW, Forgeline says "Viper only" on the VR1s. They didn't even sound interested in discussing it. The funny thing is, I've run into that a lot lately... like everyone has all the business they already need, and doesn't really give a crap about getting any more.
