Any recomendations? Dont know if many people consider this important or not. Im getting ready to mount new wheels/rotors/ arp studs and figured a good way to top it off would be with some good lug nuts. I dont know shiet about lug nuts though. I would like to avoide cheaper lug nuts, the last set I picked out costs me $45 and started to corrode after a few months. Mounting Enkei RPF1's as mentioned in other threads if that matters or not im not too sure.

 

Just about anything will work so don't over think this.... This is like asking for the best exhaust, everyone is going to give you different opinions. Just get the right size and everything else will be ok. I've had good luck with Muteki, others have had good luck with Gorrila. If you want to spend the coin, Rays also has lugs.

The gorilla spline drive lugs are reasonable priced (around 35 bucks) very tough, look good, and each one serves as a lock. I run them in black on my current RPF1 track wheels

I have a set of 2 piece (floating seat) McGard lug nuts (around 85 bucks) for my new set of Fikses coming in the mail

Thank you sir. I hope those ARP studs dont corrode at all, I dont think they would but since they will be somewhat exposed I hope they dont.

 

ARP studs get rusty after enough use. not a real issue, they just arent pretty anymore

 

Cant decide between the open end or closed end ones. Im making this a big deal lol. I just dont want to be able to see rusted studs after a while.

^ Thanks Rishie, I already ordered the lug nuts, and some goodridge brake lines. Im getting my rotors from Racing brake, and pads idk yet....

 

Rishie carries Racing Brake, and offers tremendous service. You'll save a buck going with him too

I personally think open-ended look like ***. It's something you'd do for function on a racecar, not for looks.

The only reason I've ever bought (or needed) anything other than generic steel acorn nuts was when I bought extended shank nuts for my track wheels... they have a 1/4" extension that goes into the wheel hole and give you some extra thread surface for when I run the 5mm spacer.
