Lowering a FC

Hi, i am going to lower my 90 T2. I have a set of Koni ajustables and -35mm springs, if i fit these will it mess up the Geomatry of the car (will i need some sort of correcters to?).

Also has anyone had any experiance with Poly bushes?, are they worth the money or should i just fit a set of Stock bushes?

Thanks

Do the polyurethane bushings. If you are going to go through that much work to switch them out, then go for them instead of the rubber bushings. Poly bushings are a nice medium between rubber and Delrin. Plus they are much less expensive and last longer on the street than Delrin. I have the poly bushings and I love them.
If you lower the back, you'll need to get an adjustable camber link. The lower the rear goes, the more negative camber is made.

I am going to Drop it about 1" about 25mm. Would you recomend doing the sway bars whilst i have it apart?

When it is lowered will the Front go out of Geomatry?

The front sways bar is easy do put on. The rear is bit trickier (especially with a stock exhaust). I'm not sure how that would affect the front end geometry. I would'nt think too much with the strut setup that comes on the FC.

You should be fine as long as you get it realigned. The toe setting will change a little on the front and maybe the rear also. Possibly enough to cause premature tire wear even though the car may still drive good. If the camber is out of factory spec on the front you will need some camber plates and on the rear a camber adjustor by mazdatrix or racing beat. There are probably other companies that make them but I can't think of any. Just realign it to factory spec and you should be fine.
