Lowering the 7

I just bought a set of 275/50/15's BFGoodrich tires for my rear end and i need to now lower the rear b/c it sits a little too high.....i was wondering if i have to go about and buy all new suspension...or can i just take out the coil and cut it a little and then cut out the wheel well to sit the tire under my wide fenders....if anyone has any advice on this situation plz post b/c im getting ready to travel across the US and i dont really want my front end so close to the ground that i become a damn snow plow.....thanks...parker

Please don't cut the springs, that's not the way to go about doing it. I don't know much about FB suspension options, but I would suggest looking into a new set of springs for the whole car, not just the rears.
