Im trying to get some in a few days maybe ichibas or kics. which size center bore am i supposed to get for my FC? also will my original studs be sunken with the 25mm spacer.

 

Search google for the centerbore, I can tell you that an FD is 67.1mm.

With 25mm spacers they'll come with shallow lugs for your existing studs and will have a set of five longer offsets studs for your wheel lugs.

 

FC centerbore is 59.6mm.
I'm playing with a set of 25mm H&R spacers, so I'll double check if the stud is flush or not. It's pretty close on the rear, IIRC. Many wheels have recesses on the back that allow you to use spacers with the stud sticking out beyond the mounting surface.

 

thank you goodfella i know the size but the spacers hub size isnt exact so am i supposed to go with the bigger sized one. Its pretty close though in size. Im just concerned cause spacers are said to be a little dangerous.

ive seen those on a couple of my wheels do wheels still come like that?

I ran a set of 60mm bore spacers on the stock s5 TII 59.6mm bore. Removing the wheel required getting under the car and kicking it. Moral of the story: Go smaller if you can. The center bore is only used to locate the wheel while the lugnuts are tightened down. The bore should not be supporting weight during operation.

Spacer safety seems like it will always be in question. My view is that spacers get clamped to the hub exactly like the wheel does, so mechanically, it's just like bolting on a wheel. Big companies like eibach and H&R offer wheel spacers. They have a name to protect and are open to liability if something so critical (like a wheel falling off) fails. I think well known companies using quality components is a safe choice. ebay sellers in china have no such liability.

I do not know what percentage of wheels still have holes/recesses for longer studs. FWIW, stock s5 tII wheels had them.

WJK which thread are you talking about? Okay so which ones do i go with ebay says the 59.5 which is .1 smaller or the 60.1?

there is a guy here in the good ole USA who makes them to spec, I have bought 3 sets off him, he makes them to order so what you do is contact him on any of his ebay auctions and he will send you a email. wheeladapters is the member on ebay, they are billet so I really cant see how much better you can get then that ?

tell him the exact bore he will take care of the rest, I think he even knows what bore a FC is

basic sets I think he gets $40-$59 for, at least thats what I paid back when

 

Order 59.5mm. The spacers are made so they have a 59.5 hole on one side and a 59.5 lip on the other. The hole isn't straight through, if that makes sense. This only really matters if running stock wheels. What wheels do you plan on using? Aftermarket wheels usually have bigger bores and need a hubcentric ring to center them on the spacer. They are also easily found on ebay.

 

Ok. I have some type of ARE,BBS RS,Prime look a like Meshies right now. The bore on the wheels are pretty big. So the 59.5 will clear the original hub that is all I'm concerned about.
