I f'n hate my bushings! Please read and suggestions...
I bought into the hype many years ago and installed a full set of Jim Lab bushings. Since that they have done nothing but give me trouble. First problem was I lubed the heck out of them to keep them quiet and this caused the issue of not staying aligned. So I have put "Less" grease and now they are noisy as hell, I can't take it. Once they get heated up they are very "clunky" form them binding up. I also hate how they transmit every little bump right into my teeth.
So I am going to replace them. I am thinking of a combination of stock for the upper front and superpro's for the lower front and rears?
My question is, has anyone had alignment issues or noise issues with superpro's? Any other issues I should be aware of??
Thanks,
Jon

I've never heard of any alignment issues when I sold/installed SuperPro bushings. Never had a set of them squeak or cause any problems for my customers as far as I know. I heard of people having issues with the SuperPro adjustable camber kit (has offset bushings for more camber). I believe the issue was them being a pain to install and possibly align but I dont know much about them as I only sold the standard non-adjustable kit.
Have you looked at Powerflex bushings? Theyre readily available both in a kit and as individual pieces (part #s) and have a great lifetime warranty to back them up.

They suck. Seemd like a good idea and for many of us was the only option at the time. The only way you can keep them quiet is to install zerk fittings and regularly grease them. To get the grease to distribute into the bushings, you will also need to file a groove on the inside across where the grease fitting is. It is a decent amount of work. We can do it at the shop for you if you like. A better option would be a set of super pro bushings. Stock are too expensive.

Which ones are you going to go with? I'm debating between powerflex, superpro, or just brand new stock ones...

I've had the full superpro kit for quite some time now and have been extremely happy with them..... zero noise and predictable handling. I'm running full superpros in all control arms with RE toe link/trailing arms and RP/RX7.com diff bushings. Newer pillowballs and rear lower arm oem end bushings.
