Kumho Ecsta Supra. Good tires???

Got them with the car when I bought my FD. I have to replace my rear drivers side tire due to a bubble, but plan to replace both rear tires. Should I stick with these Tires for $129.00 each, or are there better tires for the same or less amount of money?

which model? if they are the 712s, get something else cuz they suck. the Kumho MX is pretty good. Just search for tires in threads from the last 3-6 months and you'll get quite a few good threads with tire suggestions.

I've seen electric walk-behind lawnmowers with higher grip than what a Ecsta 712 can give you.

The car deserves better.

There aren't any "good" tires out there for the same or less money. Beleive me, I've looked extensively. Spend the money on good tires, it's worth it. For a decent low dollar tire in that same class I'd reccomend the Falken FK-451. I've got them and they're quite good. They'll wear faster than the 712's, but will grip alot better. For the price, there's no other tire that comes close. I've been daily driving on them and they are good in wet and dry, they aren't very noisy, they do reasonably well at auto-x, and stood up to 2 days straight of track pounding by 2 drivers at a high performance driving school at Spokane Raceway Park.
