Kuhmo XS?

I'm going to be buying some new tires soon. Looking for 285/30/18 and 315/30/18 sizes. My car might see 5k miles of street use and hpde track days. On the fence on whether to just get some toyo r888's or a sticky street tire like the xs or falken 615.

I have used the kuhmo mx before and really liked them except the sidewall could have been a little stiffer.

Any reviews of the XS?

Lots of info on the tire rack. Also they did very well in a recent C&D comparo.

For your app they're perfect, I'm not convinced the R888s heat up quickly enough to be a viable street option. I run the XS on my Fikses...... very sticky, pretty light, price is right

Just don't drive in torrential downpours

of the top street tires (the ST lineup) XS has the best dry traction, and is worst in cold/wet.
if you need wet traction for whtever reason, go dunlop

falkens cant compete with any of the tires out now. unless you get them on clearance, dont bother
