AL Koni Yellows: Is this possible?

I am installing tein s-techs on my koni yellows and I have no idea how the car is going to sit with the perches on the top level

Is it possible to change the perch level with the strut still installed to the car by compressing the spring in the wheel well?

Does the spring have to be completely removed to change the perch? How do you move the perches up/down?

Keep it at the top perch. You'll be fine. Top perch should put you around 25" +- 1/2" ride height.

You need to remove the shock and spring to readjust perches later.

Can you adjust perches on FC shocks?

Unless of course, you have an FD.

sorry, forgot the mention yes FD

I want the car to sit completely level. I DO NOT want the back higher like it is in stock configuration

I see the Racing Beat springs drop the front .75 and rear 1.5...this is to compensate for the rear sitting higher

The S-techs however are 1.4 front and 1.3 rear....so there's no compensation

Currently I have stock springs with front struts on middle perch and rear on lowest...it sits ok but not as low as I want I simply want to drop the car evenly all the way around

So with S-Techs you believe that moving the rear back up to the top will still allow the car to drop correctly? Anybody have pictures?

S-Tech's on Tokico's (so that would be front & rear on the same perch level).

My car is lower than that. I think I need to raise mine. My rear is actually lower than the front by a tiny bit. I have Koni yellow with H&R springs. Remember everyone's car is different. Regardless if we have the same brand stuff.

It actually sits lower. That shot was taken just after bringing the car off jack stands to wash it. Here's a shot of the front after it settles in:

I would start with the Koni's on the top perch.

Yes, they are 5zigen Typhoons. To my knowledge, they aren't made anymore. They aren't "light", I would estimate around 24lbs.

Most people usually start with top-front, middle-rear.
