Koni yellows oil from adjusting nut?

Koni yellows oil from adjusting nut?
Went to adjust the koni yellows and I noticed a slight amount of oil leaking out of the threads when I moved the adjustment nuts....this mean the struts are dead?

may not be dead yet but definitely not good when oil starts leaking out of them.
