After checking my funds I have realized there will be no way in hell that I am going to be able to afford the enkei RPF1 rims that I wanted so I am going to cheap out and I saw these rims on the tirerack. They are very similar to the Kosei K1-TS, but they are $70 cheaper and 3 pounds heavier per rim.
I have been reading thread on the board and I have found some ppl that say a 17x7 with 40mm offset will rub and some that say it will be fine, any comments on that?
And these rims are weighing in at 17 pounds, and I will be using some 215/40R17 tires (maybe 45 profile). The tires will weigh about 22 pounds. Do you guys think this rim/tire combo will be heavier than the phone dial's with 235/60R14's that are on my car right now?
