just got some 17x7 adr concept gunmetal rims for my FC ~offset?

well at first i belived that anything with a 35-45 offset would work for an FC, and these are a +43 offset, but i stopped by a rotary shop today and one of the guys there said that theyd have to be 40 to fit. are these rims going to work for me?
btw i have an 88 GXL if that helps

Can't really help you on the fitment, but those are the same ones I looked at for my 1st gen, but they only came in 42mm offset (16x7) and didn't work...

I tried a 17x7 +42 with a 215/40 17 Yokohama A520 that rubbed the suspension. My suspension was pretty fuxor'd though - could be part of the problem (90 GXL with AAS if that matters).

Yes, you could take it too a rim shop and have them cut the wheel up and piece it back together with a lower offset. Why not just get some hubcentric spacers?

They can be picked up at most local rim dealerships at a cost of ~$8 a piece. Longer studs are recommended with this type of spacer, but i've yet to actually hear of anyone snapping or stripping studs with only a 5mm spacer.
