just got Bogarts....where do i get spacers??

I just got Bogarts for my car and need some spacers for the front skinnies. They need to be at least 7/16"......where is the best place to find these? Would there be any problems with these passing tech at the dragstrip? I'll find out soon enough.....just wondering if anyone know's off hand.

Thanks.....

I don't know, but I thought you might want to try"

Bogart Wheels website:
http://www.bogartwheels.com/

There is an area where you can ask questions. I checked the FAQ area and they don't mention anything about spacers. But they do mention that they can pretty much custom make any size under the sun.

Good luck.

I just totally forgot. You might want to give Ari a call and see what he has to say about it. Or call Ray w/ SR Motorsports.

Well, i found spacers at Pep Boys for $7 a piece. They are 5/16" and work perfect. I've got extended studs that are going on anyway so it's all good.

BTW.....i called my buddy at Discount Tire and they have the expensive ones for a $100 a piece I decided against those of course!

Be careful when you purchase things from Pep Boys. I've had some bad experiences w/ some of their products (specifically the Pep Boys brand items). I've had a bad battery, bad starter and something else that I don't remember at the moment. All of which failed on me.

Personally, the only things that I get from Pep Boys would be fluids/chemicals. Anything mechanical is out of the question for me.

Dom: i totally agree.....i just needed something to go off of. I'm going to make some custom spacers now that i know the right thickness. The one's from Pep boy's are very generic and can create some problems down the road. I found this out once i got them on and started looking at things. I am glad that i bought them though.....i love learning from mistakes

Ok. I understand what you're doing now. Glad to see that you're making some custom spacers.

Dude, you have so much custom stuff on your car...you just have to mass produce the products and you may be able to declare yourself as an auto manufacturer like Ruf or Saleen. hahahahahaha.

Dom: yeah right! I wish! I just have alot of ideas and have the tools and the people to make them a reality. It's so much fun and such a big headache at the same time. It'll just be really nice to have something different from the rest of the pack. The outside will look pretty regular until you pop the hood....... or look at the suspension or the drivetrain. I can't wait till the holiday's are through!!!!!! It doesn't seem like anything is getting done to my car! Aargh!

Oh well......HAPPY NEW YEAR!
