Good job on restoring those BBS mesh rims. I guess I should frequent the junk yards more often so I can score some good rims also. Again good job man and keep it up!

I saw this thread a few months ago, picked up some of the Speedline Wheels from a '91 Lincoln and did what you did. I just got to them about 4 days ago and this is how mine turned out. I'm thinking they look pretty sweet!

I never got around to see how much they weigh, but they are light. I think about the same as the stock S5 mesh wheels.

New project for my E36 BMW Touring
Picked up a set of wheels from the junkyard with tires (2 tires good). Just some stocker 15's, tired of rolling on steelies in the winter and wanted to run some alloy's.
From the yard
Started to scuff them up. Did the lip to see what it would look like with a semi dark face and polished lip.
Removed the very top coat. Still deciding if I want to polish the lip or not or just coat the whole wheel. Have to get the tires demounted and remove the tire weight and valve stem.
