Installing Tein Flex - can't remove front shocks & how to adjust height?

Hi guys,

I just picked up a set of Tein Flex coilovers for my FD. I'm installing them, and I have a few questions for the vetrans.

- I've successfully installed the rears. I want to adjust the height (car is too high), but I'm not sure how to go about it now that they are installed. I understand the difference between adjusting the height using the lower bracket as opposed to adjusting it with the springs (and changing the preload), but how do I adjust the height now that the lower bracket is bolted to the car? Should I twist the entire shock body, or what?

- My front OEM shocks are completely stuck to the lower a-arm. I cannot pull them out for the life of me, so I'm letting them soak in WD40 right now. Can anyone provide any help or tips for prying them out? I really want to finish up this install, but I can't figure out how to get them out for the life of me, and it's really holding me back.

Thanks a bunch guys!

Basically, all you need to do, is using the spanner wrench(or just a screwdriver and hammer) loosen the lower shock body, and turn the whole upper shock body up or down(depending on desired effect-higher or lower) and once you have measured the amount you want to adjust... lock down the lower shock body with the spanner/locking nut. Make sure you do cross measurements between the two sides, so you aren't too far out of whack.

Now that you have coilovers... you can effectively cornerweight your car and balance your weight distribution... And of course, you will need to get an alignment afterwards as well...

As far as removing the fronts... I would recommend unbolting the endlinks to the sway bar, and also unbolting the strut from the strut tower... and let the suspension "droop"... at this point, you should be able to take out all nuts/bolts and have enough room to remove the strut assbly...
