Question Installed new rotors (slotted/drilled) and rubs badly when turning. Help!

Just installed some new slotted/drilled rotors on my 3rd gen and they def rub. I can hear the hiss type sound when in go straight, but when i turn either way i hear the slots shaving the pads. Is this normal? Im assuming there’s a break-in period. Should i give it a bit and then go to a brake specialist? Just need some quick opinions. Thanx

could be a couple of things first double check that everything is tight and installed properly
once thats done

don't be afraid to get some heat into them go out on a freeway and do half a dozen stops going from medium braking to hard and then cruise for a little to cool them off. if you still have a problem it could be a stuck caliper piston or a bad wheel bearing....also some pad manufacturers spray a coating on the backing plates and most of the time they get it all over the edges of the pad material this can cause ridge that flaps on the rotor check your pads for this if its there just chip it off with a razor blade.
