info on coilovers

I am looking to buy some coilovers for my 93 FD and I wanted to see what you thought would be the best buy for my situation. I am willing to spend appx $1200 $1400 on them. These are for street use only as this car is driven only on weekends. I currently have blown tikikos on and RB springs which put the car way to low to the ground. I don't want or require a lowered look but I want the ease of install that coilovers offer me. If you need any further info please let me know.

Thanks,
Shogun

In that price range probably a Tein Flex system for a street car.

Tokico D1 series or illumina coil over package.. both are well within your budget and easy to warrenty, ( if needed), in north america.

Oh your other option would be Silkroad coilovers. They are monotube dampers vs. tein flex twin tube dampers and about the same price.

Rishie,

Where do you get specs for SilkRoad. Do you carry them?

Spring rates for FD are 10kg front and 8.0kg rear. We're waiting to get updated pricing but as of right now it looks like they retail around $1600.00. They are monotube dampers.

These coils include pillowball uppermounts and camber plates for strut applications.

FC uses 8kg and 6kg spring rates, includes camber plates.
