IM A NOOB!!!!Please help w/ rims decision

I have an 86 second gen rx-7, and i need to get the widest width rims available that will fit for my car without being custom made. some rim places tell me 8.5" is the widest in the rear and 8" is the widest in the front. Is this true or i can do wider?17x9 in the rear alright??? please help thx

Do you have 4 lug or 5 lug? I'll be coming to LA next week. I can deliever down there and save you on shipping plus hook you up pretty phat with staggered wheels, 8" and 9" if you're interested. Let me know if you can pay cash.

Thanks, rishie

ARD T2 sells Volks -- tell him what you are looking for and he'll give you a good price. I got my Volks (and another set of wheels for my daily driver) from Rishie (ARD T2) and I'd do it again if I was in the market for another set. Rishie knows his fitments and gives good deals and good service.
