I don't think so. Probably will get fender lip rubbing. 32 lbs is damned heavy even for an 18-inch wheel.

Hi. The most I have personally seen anyone run is 17x9, 40 offset, all the way around (shown in the pic below). Being that you have 8.5" wide, the equivalent offset would be 34. So the 30 offset will probably stick out too far.

ok. so if I can modifie them to 35 offset I vill be able to use them? even with a eibach spring kit? what tires should I use in that case?

I wonder how slow my car will get with these wheels. most of the weight is in the centre of the wheel though.

I have 18, and 41 offset, they rock. They only weight 17 pounds.

Damn GZON, I'm jealous. Your car is REALLY clean. Did you recently have it painted or is that the original paint? And it's red- mine used to be but I painted it silver... wish I would have kept it red.

Anyhow, back on subject. You are lucky to have a friend with a CNC machine. So there was obviously enough material for you to be able to take off 5mm. Once you get the tires on there and have it back on the ground, please make sure and post those pics in this thread.

Take care,
Tom

Thanks tom, its the original paint. I will repaint the mirrors and rear wing this spring. Have to say that your car is really nice to, and nico combo on the mods.

Yes he has made lots of things for me, plates, flanges and such. We will take care of the wheels this weekend and it will be on the ground next weekend. I will take som pics and post. I have 11Millimeters (1"=25.4mm)from the bottom of the boltcone to the bottom. If I take 5mm I still got 6mm and I really only need 5 according to the No1 wheelmod company here in sweden.
