If you are running slotted rotors please come in and give your opinion

After reading a fist full of threads about slotted rotors vs. drilled rotors i have decided against drilled as they are prone to cracking and dont really offer a performance benefit.
So my question is those of you running slotted rotors on your car would you recommend them for a semi daily driven / track car? Do you notice any benefits over a stock rotor?

I've done a couple track days with both the stock rotors and slotted/drilled Brembo front and Ferodo rear rotors.

It didn't seem to me that the Brembo rotors performed any better than the stock rotors. The stock rotors actually work pretty well.

As for driving on the street, there's not any benefit one way or the other, other than from an aesthetic perspective.

You are going to get most of your benefit from the pads you select and the lines/ fluid you run. I have been running slotted for 5 yrs now without issues. Track days
and lots of drag racing with 550hp+ rx7 can REALLY test some brakes! Don't go drilled, go with slotted brembo, ferodo, or AP. They will last you.

Slotted all the way!!! I've notice a dramatic difference using slotted rotors. You probably wont notice the difference on the street, but for spirited driving situations, it is great!!!

Dont do slotted/drilled combinations; they tend to be weaker and warp easier (depending on your brake pad).
