if you had a choice

what woud you rather have, tien basic or megan coilovers? and does anyone know how well the megan coilovers do on the track?? not sure if it makes a difference but its for a fd

Tein Basic, springs are too stiff but at least are balanced front/rear, and they are rebuildable/serviceable in the US.

megans are the same, they are rebuildable in the states also, and are made at the same place that apexi's coilovers are made, just not with the same materials, i ahve installed a few pairs of megans on my friends 240s and they seem to love them, i would go with the megans

No, they are not. Both Tein and Zeal have real service centers here that can rebuild or revalve the dampers. Megan does not. If you have a problem during the warranty period, they will replace the damper with a new one, if you have a problem outside the warranty period or need custom valving, you are screwed.
