Ideal Tyre sizes?

I've bought some wheels for my T2, i would like to know what Tyres to fit on them.

I have 8x18" ft and 9.5x18" rear.

I am thinking of fitting 215/225x40x18" ft and 245/255x35x18" on the rear does this sound about right or do i need lower profile still?

Thanks.

well, from purely a "maintaining the stock wheel+tire diameter" viewpoint, you will want to run 225/40s on the fronts and 245 or 255/35s on the rear.

You should ask Rishie (ARD T2) what offsets and tire widths you can use on a TurboII.

Hey Grizz,

Ryn you're right but unfortunately I've experienced rubbing with that tall of a front tire depending on wheel offset. Can you give me wheel offsets for the front and back?

If I were to run the setup I would get 225/35 and 255/35 or 245/35 for taller gearing.

Rishie

I have been having problems with my Coilovers catching the tyre thats why i wanted it mesured but i am not very clued up on the Suspension side of RX's.
