I want some wheels like these

i want some black 5 spokes for my ls1 powered FC. i need more traction, i was thinking 9" wide or so to fit some 275's. i know i can fit 275's with 17's but im wondering if i want to go with 15's if i can still clear that wide of a tire. i like the black cobra wheels, also the ones in the picture. i think 15's would look good with some big drag radials on the rear. so anyone have any good wheels in mind that i might like, just looking for some black 5 spokes dont know 15-17" yet. maybe some wider spokes than the ones in the picture.

Regamasters EVO.

Forged. Lightweight.

Hard to find. But so worth it.

those come up for sale on zilvia.net thru some of the members in Japan, theyre amazing wheels and super duper mega micro lightweight.

17x9 +40 to +25 out back depending on how flush w/ the fender you want the tire to be for a 275 tire.

yeah of course you can still clear a 275 on a 15" wheel, but if the tire has a lot of buldge and is really super wide then you may have some rubbing depending on the offset you choose and how droopy your rear end gets under launch (lol thats funny)

I doubt you'll be saying that after all the spokes break off and your car is lying straight on the ground without any wheels to hold it up. You don't want to get cheap with anything on cars. Just pay the extra money and know for sure you will get quality.

Fikse usa makes wheels that you might like. they look like the Regamasters but without the mad tyte jdm price, and not knockoffs like the rota's which prolly wont come in the width that you'd want anyways.

profil 5 wheels

i like the fikse wheels but still a little out of my price range. but at least you get to to tell them exactly what size, offset, and bolt pattern you want

Rota makes them in 4 lug but not in the width you want in the 15" size.

just stay 4 lug and find some wheels that fit.
mustangs uised to be 4 lug w/ the same bolt pattern and similar offsets as FC's so youre best bet is to search mustang forums for older 4-lug wheels and if you want wide 15" wheels for drag slicks then the mustang guys are surely youre best bet. also keep an eye on ebay. you may not be able to find some in black but you can easily paint wheels black, thats so simple.

i like those but they are wayyy out of my price range.

and my fc is 5 lug. newer mustangs are 5 lug so i think my best bet would be looking for those. i wish it wasnt so hard to get 5 lug rotas

keep an eye out on your local craigslist or any location you are willing to drive to snag some wheels, mustang wheels like those are commonplace and you should be able to find some soon enough.
17x9 is the way to go, light and cheap but still wide enough for some beefy 275's!
