Unhappy I screwed up today. Bearings

Last night, I decided I would refresh my suspension and brakes. Other than the disk pads and shocks, nothing had been touched in 16 years. The reason I decided to do the job now is because while braking yesterday, I got some heavy shaking of the front wheels.

So, this morning I ordered a set of front suspension bushings and new ball joints and started taking apart the front disk brakes. I removed the calipers (painted them red), removed and cleaned the bearings and placed them left side/right side into a box to keep them from getting mixed up.

I removed the disks and took them to Sears to be cut down, turns out after all these years, they were just a little rough on the surface with slight scoring, but still not warped or otherwise out of shape.

When I went back to Sears to get the disks, I suddenly realized that I had no idea which disk came from which side of the car. Crap!!!

OK, I can get new bearings for around $70 bucks, but the really bad part is that the only shop I can find to do the work wants $40 each disk to press out the old races and install the new. So, basically I just screwed myself out of $80 bucks for not paying closer attention to what I was doing.

Check the part numbers to see if they are different. If they are different, call Mazda and find out which one goes where. If the part numbers are the same, it may not make any difference.

Thanks for the suggestion, but... The problem is not the disks, it is the races. I no longer know which bearings go with which installed races.
