i need help.. big time..

ok.. so instead of a huge story ill get down to the point..

i need to trim some part of the caliper to make wheels fit.. 0 offset.. and i have an 8mm spacer and they still hit..

so i have ideas but need imput..

trim here ...

or take the caliper appart...

shave down here

equal on both sides.. hope the holes line up
and then trim the red

so the rotor will fit between them ..

i no its not an ideal method but it needs to be done.. i dont want spacers and i defanitly dont want more then a 8mm.. i would settle with about a 5mm..
but again i dont want them...

any ideas or better suggestions let me know
last guy told me to trim off the whole nub on the caliper and sure enough thats there the fluid passes through

i blew a hole in the caliper..( no pic )

instead of compromising the operation of your calipers, have you considered getting the correct size spaces, or perhaps wheels that fit?

really? thats crazy, what kind of lame wheel shops do you have up there?

I got my wheel adapters from http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

Granted they were a lil cheaper back then, but I'm sure they can make what you need to get them to fit.

BTW any pics of these ballerific gift wheels ?

I'd be very cautious screwing around with hacking up the brake caliper to get a wheel to fit. I think your nuts but its your life. If something happens I hope you don't hurt anyone else in the process.

If you are desperate to keep those wheels, get larger spacers. You can order them online. AutoRND ( a vendor here) can get you spacers.
