I have the wheels all i need is the car...

I sold my FD about a year ago to try out the VW/audi scene. I want another FD. I loveeee the euro style with the neon colors, shaved bays, and smoothed stretched tires but i miss my FD!!! I am actually planning on getting a MK3 jetta, slam it and have that as my daily driver while i work on my fd. But here is the point of this thread. I had these wheels on my mk4 gti and i am now saving them for my 7. what do you think? P.S. i need a rx7. Looking for a shell possibly! [IMG][/IMG] Sorry about the cell phone pictures 18x9.5-18/10.5 not sure the ET but came off a corvette. The bolt pattern is 5x114.3... i had adapters.

Sells FD for VW/Audi?.... (CHILLS DOWN SPINE)... Lets just say, glad you've came to your senses.

Wheels look clean, and their definitely wide enough. Offset is looking high, but hey, if they fit before with spacers...

GL with finding a FD man....

Miami Vice Wheels

Scott, those wheels look like they came off an 80's speed boat trailer. I dont care who makes them ugly is ugly. I don't understand how people can still think that wheels like that look good.

If you want to see some nice wheels on an FD checkout RX7 Rage, Scrub, or Ihavetwins. I personally run either Advan TC2 or Advan RS wheels but don't have any pics up.

Sorry i normally try not to be negative but you did ask for it .

Honesty bell ringing!

Glad to have you back, just don't tell people you sold your first FD for a Jetta (that might get you punched)

the wheels...

Some wheels look good on dated euro cars, but would look whack on a timeless car like an FD.

Sell wheels, save money, happily take said saved money and flush it down the toilet & revel in the rekindled ownership of your second FD, buy your DD mk.III jetta, be happy.

Those wheels will look odd on a FD.

Absolutely no love with the wheels huh? well we will see. i am still sort of attached to these. I have seen some UGGLY wheels on this forum so at least i wont be alone!

The reason why i loved the VW/Audi side of things was because the creativity and open minded style. Still have love for those cars but damn my gti couldn't corner! lol

Yeah, my old WV plate was XLR8 on my FB.... it's taken now.

I think the wheels look okay... but I would have to see them on the car...

Color, contrast, offset, & design have everything to do with it... Wheels really make a cars appearance. The stance & how it all flows has ALOT to do with the wheels.

If nothing else, you could sell them & go with something specific. I'm sure they would catch a fair price.....

Before I got my Meister's, my car would get looks, but now.... Holy crap, People just STARE!... It truly changes the look of the car.
