Huh?... FD rotors on an FC's rear brakes?
In a Japanese RX-7 magazine I have, one of the FC's (the one in the article about setting up FC suspensions) has FD rotors (17 inch!??!) on the rear brakes. The front brakes were stock.
Is there any real reason to do this?... Seems like it would be pointless, or that it would throw the balance off.

Top listing.
They're basically the rotors from an RS(?) model of FD from Japan (99+). I have NEVER seen rotors that are 17", the biggest, most ridiculous ones I've seen are 15 inch. Those are something close to 12" IIRC.
The reason to put bigger rear brakes on a car is to balance out bigger front brakes if your car has them. With stock front brakes there's no real point to doing that.
