So I just got my Stern ST-8's in the mail. They look great. But there is a problem. The front wheels don't sit flushon the hub. The reason being that the wheel center has two bores. The main bore closest to the hub, and then a secondary (smaller) bore, which is for the center cap. Due to the long hub bore of the RX-7 the chamfer of the 2nd bore doesn't allow it to sit flush. Has anyone run into this problem before? is the best solution to buy a spacer? I tried using washers last night and I think a 3 - 5mm spacer might correct it. Has anyone done anything else to fix this? Grind down the lip on the car's hub? have the wheel's hub machined out?

Well you could run a spacer just rember to keep checking the torque on the lugs. Spacers never keep the same thickness. The srink and expand all the time causing the lugs to loosen. And never grind down the hub on a car. your best bet is to have the wheels machined to a larger bore.
