how wide can i go

how wide can i go

i jus order my work meister 3 pieces 18x9.5 offset 22 all for wheels.i was jus wondering how wide of a tire i can put on those wheels.i plan on getting the full burnout kit for it too so i will be getting wider front n rear fender with the kit.

BTW - There are several answers to your question depending on the criteria. These are a few of the questions that have to be answered first.

Which car do you have?
Do you have stock springs or coil overs?
Is your car lowered and how much?


There are a few other factors but that a good start.

Tire width = rim width is a good baseline for handling, pending more info as noted above.
Assuming you have wider (enough) fenders this likely won't be a problem.

if you just mean how wide of tires will fit on the wheels then thats 285/35/18

I think he means how wide of a wheel and tire can he fit under his _____? without rubbing fender or spring.

But he didnt say what kind of car he has,
whether or not it has factory springs or coil overs and which kind,
Whether he has a wide body kit or fenders at all.

So basically he has asked what size tire and wheel he can fit under a cloud.

well he has an fd because hes ordering the burnout widebody kit, hence the offsets of his wheels. and he states "how wide of a tire can i put on those wheels".....
