How are Tenzo wheel durability?

I'm spending a lot of time looking for rims that I like that are durable and wont break like cheap wheels do. My price range is from $500-$1500 and I'm looking at some Tenzo wheels. Anyone know if they are pretty strong?

Something like Enkei's or 5zigens are very solid inexpensive wheels in your price range.

Just don't go 'play drifting' into curbs and you'll be fine...

Yep, or not hitting any other low sturdy inanimate objects.

TENZO-R CUZCO V1 wheels are nice and start around $200 a wheel.

Anything that has JWL stamp or JWL+R , VIA rated is a good indicator (Minus the fact Rota, I will never run a Rota wheel). XXR has JWL Stamp and a good alternative if you're on a tight budget. Anything that is stamped with this logo will ensure that the wheel is durable. JWL+R wheels are more expensive, hence "Baller" status...but little do people know how much more durable they are versus your Rota or Varrstoens.

Cast Iron wheels are bad. Do not run them...one thing commonly overlooked is wheel safety and people don't understand the consequences.

Refraining from posting anything about quality and durability and sake of arguement, I have owned a pair of Volk TE37 Magnesium blue (17" front 18" rear variant) and my friend was in a 50-65 MPH crash (fell asleep at the wheel) and he hit a barrier (car is totalled , he does not drift)

This is the aftermath. He's still alive. Had no seatbelt on (Bride kept him sucked in) and survived ok. Just think had he had a cheaper cast iron wheel like rota or some other brand that is cast...just make sure you look into forged wheels, THEY ARE LIFE SAVERS!

I'll say he is quite stubborn when it comes to not wearing seatbelts. I respect your opinion.
