How Low Should I Go?

I have an FD which I'm planning on lowering in the next few weeks.
I'll be using 265/35-18's R and 235/35-18's up front.. Would an inch drop look good? How low did all of you drop yours?
Thanks

If you're going w/ stock-replacement springs, you don't have much choice.. but most are around 1". Seems like H&R's are what everyone is raving about these days. If you have adjustability, 25" at the highest point in the fender arches seems to be what everyone likes.... and where I have mine.

If you have the choice, I would run 25.5" for daily use. If the car is tracked regularly or not a daily driver and you don't have a steep driveway, go for 25".

FWIW, my car is 25" front, 25.5" rear. I wish I could run 25.5" all around and will when I switch to full coilovers.

Yeah.. My apt. complex has some nasty speed bumps where I can't go too low.. My A4 even bottoms out sometimes (It's lowered too). I wish I could have a drop like yours.. Thanks for your insight.

Anyone have any pics of your 1" drop with 18's?
