Busted Wheels: Need help locating Konig Rated Rs
I hit a beast of a pothole a couple days ago and bent the front wheel and cracked the rear. As my luck continues, the Rated R is discontinued, and I can't find a decent price for the wheel. Best I can find is $190 ea.!
I'm just wondering if anyone has a good connection or knows of a website. I'm working the local wheel place I bought them from, but I don't know if they'll be able to find anything. The front can probably be fixed, at $100 according to them.
Thanks fellas.

Why don't you try calling Konig directly. Give them a sob story about how much you lOVE your wheels and what happened, perhaps they can help track down a few wheels for you.

Seriously,
A.) They are crap. I've had 2 sets of konigs, one of them being Rated R's and they aren't worth the STEEL they're made out of.. They are crappy build quality, and don't make them in any widths that could be considered an upgrade over stock wheels. So you have actually downgraded your vehicle with those cool *** konigs.. A set of stock FD wheels would actually be a better upgrade..
B.) You're complaining about only finding them for as cheap as $190.00 a wheel and you're talking about a wheel that has been discontinued. Be happy that you found them at all and since they used to be priced around $250.00 a wheel, $190.00 is not a bad deal.

They are my street wheels so the width isn't a problem. I have another set for autoxing.
I bought them for $110 each. I don't know where you bought them for $250, but you paid alot more than you should have.
